This is Tina. The last time we saw each other was at the Manila International Airport (1993??) and we were both waitlisted for a flight to the US. Remember? You were fortunate enough to get on that flight (you must have flashed them your Bb. Pilipinas smile!!!)but I had to wait 2 more days to fly out of Manila. All seats were taken from First Class to Coach. Grabe!! This is my first time to look at your website and I am amazed with what you are doing. Galing! You should have gone into this when all of us (Batch 75) were still in our 20's and 30's. Hehehe! Kinda late na for us now. I am sorry to read about your husband's passing away. I also have 2 kids and I find it hard to imagine what it would be like to lose my husband. More so for you cause your kids are still soooo young. But I believe God works in mysterious ways. Hats off to you. i share a sentiment with you. i do believe that the Lord has a roadmap of our lives even before we are born and this is all just a process we have to go through. Others don't have to go through a hard process like yours but nonetheless everything that happens to us is for a reason. after living in the states for 20 happy years, for the last two years, my daughter and i are here and my husband and 3 sons are in the states. for now this is the only arrangement for us until my papers are fixed. i thought the separation was going to kill me but prayer and faith in the Lord has allowed me to survive and move on. I will pray for you too Chiqui and ask our good Lord to always be by our side in our daily existence. Hope to see you on Sunday for Old Girl's Day.
