Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

Pregnant women must realize that whatever they drink, their unborn babies drink too. When they drink alcohol, this significantly increases the risk of babies having Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). These babies have a distinct appearance.They are often born with noticeable abnormal facial featues. They have:
1.) Ears; large and possibly malformed
2.) Eyes; small, widely spaced, short slits, droopy eye lids
3.) Chin; small
4.) Lipps; narrow upper lip
5.) Nose; upturned nosetrils, broad and flat
6.) Head; small size throughout their adolesence
7.) Brain; damaged, have mental retardation, hyperactive,
below average intellegence
8.) Damaged; liver, kidney, heart
9.) Growth; stunted
10.) Alcoholic withdrawals and seizures
I don’ think any mother would want this to happen to his child. Take responsibility! Eat and drink healthy!
